Yesterday on June 27th, 24 pooches and their owners competed to win the grand prize at Portland's 6th annual Next Top Dog Model. The dogs were split up into 2 categories (small dogs and big dogs) and were judged on apperance, personality, and behavior.
This competition was the toughest yet as the judges fell in love with each of the dogs that went up on stage. Eventually when it came down to the voting, they were able to pick 3 top finalists in both categories.
In the small dog category, Sachi, Bobo, and Tully were the finalists. Sachi ended up taking home the bacon with the winning score!
Due to the overwheling affection of the crowd, Bobo got people's choice.
In the big dog category, Lowell, Noah, and Barley were the finalists. But there could only be room for 1 winner as Barley stole the show.
Noah stole the audiences heart however by winning people's choice!
When former fashion photographer Rick Guidotti met a woman with a genetic condition that took away the color in her hair and eyes, he became upset that this woman would never be considered beautiful in the fashion world. That woman changed Rick's life! He decided to use his camera and talent to show the world that there is beauty in DIVERSITY and everyone is beautiful in a unique way. What do you think of his work?
