This means that my new person will be someone who has older, dog-savvy children and is willing to take things slowly with me, not forcing me into potentially overwhelming situations. I'm not going to be Mr. Super Snuggles right off the bat, but if you can understand I have reason for being the way I am, and if you give me time and space, I will come out of my shell and be a great companion for you. I have a video!!! Pepina is an active, happy girl who is eager to learn and eager to please. She loves hanging out with her people and especially appreciates a good neck and body rub. Pepina is very intelligent, knows her basic manners such and sit and lie down, and likes to learn new tricks and games. She has shown an aptitude for agility and is a champ at nose work. Pepina would do best in a home without cats or small animals, and she prefers to be around children old enough to respect her age and intelligence. She would prefer a quiet neighborhood to live in, and is not for the first-time dog owner. To help you meet her need for regular romps and exercise, Pepina comes with a coupon for a free swim session at Doggie Paddle. A training consult is included prior to her adoption as well. She also comes with a 1-hour post-adoption consultation, a crate, a bed, and toys!
