Hi there, Im Barson a quirky young fellow looking for someone to love me for who I am. I tend to be outgoing and social and may have a hard time listening in new situations. I love to play games and want to be involved in all of my owner's activities. Even though I'm eager to please, I still need consistent training and structure in order to fit your lifestyle. I would prefer to go to a home with older dog savvy children that are able to handle my zest for life. I was previously an outdoor only dog so I will need some time and patience so that I can become comfortable inside the home. You may have heard that I traveled quite a distance to arrive here at the Oregon Humane Society; that's the truth, but the long drive was worth it! I'm looking for someone who can go slowly with me, go on walks with me, maybe take me to a Basic Manners class, and most importantly, love me as much as I love them. Once I feel safe I'll want to be close to you; I just need a little time to learn to trust. Kids are unpredictable at times, so I'd like an adult-only home please.
