Kardashian, tweeted THIS photo of herself and the following: "The tannerexic mom has some serious competition!!! Lol." In this photo, Kardashian shows off her overly fake-tanned face and chest after getting a spray tan.
I must admit, I'm pretty new to this show and I didn't think it would be my cup of tea, but after going back and watching a few episodes online, I get it. A classic fish out of water story of a NYC doctor who decides to practice in little town, Bluebell, Alabama, then becomes part of the web of intrigue, drama and general craziness of the town.
In the newest "Destiny and Denial" episode, Wade wakes up hungover and can't figure out who he got busy with, or did he even have an overnight guest, or was it his ex-wife? George does some impromptu dancing in an overly perky way on the street, then decides to start "new" and heads to New Orleans, where he sings on stage before Scotty McCreary gets up to do a guest performance. The reason for his sudden trip? The wedding with Lemon's off.
The cast doing the local production of Gilbert & Sullivan back in Bluebell is surprisingly professional (you definitely have to suspend a little belief here), and Zoe tries to play fixer to George, following him down to NOLA. Is George her destiny, she asks Mayor Levon, then maybe finds out. Juicy.
Sure, it's kind of pop/soap opera-y for a younger set, but it's fun, and the characters are juicy enough to keep me engaged. Yeah, I'm hooked.
During the first 15 minutes of the premiere of "The L.A. Complex" on NW32, there was a raucous pool party, rampant alcohol imbibing, drug abuse, unprotected sex, and catty behavior among the just-met female cast members. So really, what's not to like?
"The L.A. Complex" is like a more promiscuous version of "Melrose Place," with aspiring stars and starlets all living in "The Lux," an apartment-style motel that seemingly has no rules. Two young dreamers from Toronto – Abby, an actress/singer, and Nick, a standup comedian – get off a bus and dive right into the scene at the Lux. Abby immediately meets Connor, a hot young Aussie on his way to acting stardom. They have sex, then seek the morning after pill before Abby goes to her first audition, where she throws up on the director. Then we meet the rest of the cast as they all make blunders in their careers. There's Raquel, the former star trying to get noticed again, Alicia, the aspiring dancer, Tariq, the aspiring hip-hop songwriter, and Nick, who bombs at the Improv, then is taunted by guest comics Paul F. Tompkins and Mary Lynn Rajskub.
All the characters have flaws, and there's no one true sympathetic character, but the drama level and hotness factor is already cranked to 11, so we should be in for a wild ride on "The L.A. Complex."
