WESTSIDE ADOPTION CENTER: I am at Lexi Dog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland, OR 97239 (503-245-4363). Come meet me there! I am Bentley, a beautiful Bluetick Coonhound. I am looking for a home that has hound experience as I will be too much for a first-time hound owner. I am a very vocal guy and will not do well in an apartment or a home in which I can not talk to you. I howl to tell you how my day went, to say I want to play, or to tell you that I am bored. I will need daily exercise to ensure I am not bored and end up singing all day. I do well with other dogs, but it is highly recommended that I meet all resident dogs before I go home with them. I have a bad habit of stealing food whether it be on the counter, in the cabinet or on your plate. I will need some training to ensure I don't steal all your food! My adoption comes with a training consultation to help you understand my behaviors and how to work with them.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
